This morning just before it was time for lunch Emma, Carlo and Caitlin had a chance to express themselve with paint. They are all still fairly new to the Nursery, but who would have known that after watching them create their masterpiece? Check this out!

Fathers Day in the Nursery - 1st September

It was such a gorgeous morning this morning, what a great opportunity for all of our dads to come and see what we all get up to when we are at Bayfield.
We appreciate that it is difficult to escape from work for the morning so it was great to see that some of you could make it!

Nursery 5-9 July

The weather hasn't been the best this week but we have made sure that we got outside every day.
We welcome Samantha who has started her visits and seems to be settling in just fine.

Nursery 21-25 June

It was another great week in the Nursery.

We welcome Vinnie who has been visiting in the Pukeko Room. Cooper and Jonty have been making him feel really welcome. Krisarn is back from holiday and she and Jules have been moving around the floor more, which makes both of them really happy.

Over in the Tuatara Room we have been popping in and out all week as the weather constantly changes. When it is really wet we stick to inside and the deck but there is always some outside time somewhere in the day.

Nursery - 14-18 July 2010

It has been another busy week in the Nursery. We farewelled Lynda (our student) and also Flynn who has made the move through to Toddlers.
We have been spending a lot of time outside even though the days haven't been too great so it is important that all the children have warm hats and jackets and a couple of changes of clothes.

Smile of the Week 4 June

It was a couple of weeks ago now but Krisarn you had the 'Smile of the week'.
You were very proud and happy with yourself as you had been pulling yourself up onto your knees and rocking. What a gorgeous smile!

A short week but packed with fun

We had another good week in the Nursery. William, Frankie and Harry are settling well into the swing of things in the Tuatara room and are really enjoying exploring the new environment.
Theo enjoyed his last days with us, but was also really excited about his visits with Flynn to Toddlers.
Lynda, our student teacher, is having a great placement and the children are enjoying interacting with her.
