We have Red Cross Christmas raffle tickets on sale at reception.  These are available at $ 2.00 per ticket.  
First prize: Ford Fiesta (Auto)
Second prize: Ford Fiesta (Manual)
Third prize: Gold Coast trip for four people
and several other prizes of televisions, travel cards, cameras and watches.
The sale of tickets will close on 4th of December and drawn on 10th December 2009, so please support the Red Cross.

A Change In Preschool For The Teddy Bear's Picnic

Please Note:
When the Preschool celebrate their Teddy Bear's Picnic on Tuesday, 20th October, we are asking that instead of bringing a plate of food, that your child brings some fruit so that we can make a nice healthy fruit salad for everyone.   Thanking you in anticipation.

WANTED - HOUSE TO RENT

One of our Nursery parents is looking for a house to rent in the Herne Bay area.  Their requirements are as follows:

3 - 4 bedroom home
Off street parking for 2 vehicles
They are non smokers
They have no pets
Looking at a long term rental agreement
Wish to be in the zone for Herne Bay schools.

Life in the Nursery

Life is ticking along in the Nursery.  The children are still showing a great interest in testing themselves physically so we are spending a bit of time in the Toddler playground at the moment.  Books, books and more books is the other big interest at the moment.  The children are loving their reading and we are really noticing a change in their vocabulary as a result.  We may even have to plan another trip to the book shop.
