Preschool Lunchbox day!
There was great excitement in Preschool on Monday...... it was lunchbox day!
Each child brought in their own exciting packed lunch full of healthy goodies. Lunchtime has never been so highly anticipated!
The children loved showing off their food from home. It also fit in well with out transition to school programme, as the children will take lunchboxes everyday to primary school.
A big thank you to the parents for putting together the yummy lunches, and for complying with out healthy food and nut/egg/sesame free policies.

Dancing with Damayanthi in Toddlers
The Toddlers and Damayanthi had fun at mat time today dancing along to the music and following all the actions of the song. Ava especially enjoyed this mat time as can be seen by all her moves on the video.
Farewells, Mystery Visitors, Mother's Day and Artists in Nursery
Another busy week has passed in the Nursery.
We enjoyed some last visits from Mr Bayfield (the cat) before he moved away. The inside/outside flow is really starting to take effect and one or two children are often found inside enjoying time and space to do their own thing, while the rest of the children are outside. The new tables and chairs are proving both a hit and at times a challenge as the children get used to having the freedom to hop on and off when they choose.
Mother's Day provided us with a stream of visitors, especially in the Pukeko Room, lets hope that the fathers show the same dedication when it is their turn.
See the photos below of our mystery visitors, artists and visiting mums.
